Great Talent, Great Value. I heard about this salon from friends, and made an appointment with Soriya. I've been going to her for a couple years now for hair cuts, styling, and highlights. She is a great listener, and also will give her opinion and recommendation when asked. I'm sure you will not find a better stylist for the uncommonly reasonable rates that she charges. NOTE: Do remember to bring cash or check; they do not take credit cards.

Side note: Soriya is very talented, and would fit in without question at a very upscale salon. But, I hope she stays here -- perfectly nice salon, but basic. Don't go in expecting some super fancy place. There are a couple other female stylists at Classico who I have not tried yet, and also stylists who focus on a barber-type of clientele. If you want great service, a great cut & color, without giving up half your paycheck, then go to Classico.

Finally, someone who listens to the client!. I have naturally curly hair, and for years have cut it myself (rather poorly, I might add) because I could never find a stylist who would listen to me. At salons, I always ended up with awful highlights, frizzed out curls, or looking like I was wearing a quart of very shiny oil on my head.

Finally, after a friend told me she gets her hair colored here by the WONDERFUL Soraya, I decided to give it a shot. Soraya spent two hours with me and really listened to what I wanted. She told me how to care for curly hair, and explained how to maintain my style. I brought her a picture of what I wanted- Jennifer Beals circa 2006. Soraya explained what she would recommend be done to my hair to get the shape just right, and then let me decide.

Some color and a cut later, I had my dream look. I've never been happier with a hair stylist in my life, and I will always be a loyal customer. Soraya is definetely the one I would recommend here- I've not dealt with anyone else, and the salon does a lot of barber type business (the conversations that go on in here are priceless! :)

Reasonable prices, wonderful stylist. Soraya is the best!

PS- One thing to remember, this place only takes cash or checks for payment. I wasn't aware and had to run to an ATM. Good news? As I crossed the street to get cash at the Mobile station, I got winked at by this great looking guy who passed me- I totally attribute this to my new and gorgeous hair!
