In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.

I think I've gone through the whole menu by now, and the food has been uniformly scrumptious. My favorites -- chopped salad, shrooms, coconut shrimp, lamb chops, scallops griller, and all the pasta dishes. A bit pricey, but you get value for your money and the service is great. We almost always take leftovers home, and they're great the next day, too.

The steaks are the best here at Outback. They always help out with anything I needed and their onion blossom has been a superb taste everytime I go in there. There prices are sort of high but they are worth it in the end.
