What Old Orchard needs now.... What Old Orchard needs now...is a Big Bowl Fresh Chinese & Thai to fill the three-year vacant restaurant space (former home to Houlihan's & Billy Berk's) on the mall's east end, to the north of B&N. (To the south of B&N are two of Big Bowl's former sister concepts, Maggiano's & Corner Bakery, though now all three are independent from each other.) Everybody who I've talked to regarding "Big Bowl for Old Orchard" totally agrees with me, but I'm just one of the few persons to seriously go out of my way to take the time to speak up & get my voice heard! If only more people did what I've been doing, sharing my opinion with the appropriate people (in this case, writing the management for both Westfield & Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises), the world would be an entirely different place, because it's every little voice that counts!

Also...I think Westfield should try & look into selling Old Orchard to the same real estate investment trust who purchased The Shops at North Bridge (formerly Westfield North Bridge) three years ago. Old Orchard & North Bridge could once again be sister malls (the two were so great together!!!), while Westfield could then better focus on upgrading their other Chicago suburban malls: Fox Valley, Chicago Ridge, Hawthorn, Louis Joliet. And I know I'm not alone...but if everybody else continues to believe that they are only one person and their voice won't matter, nothing is ever going to change!

Everything you need is here. This is one of my favorite outdoor malls to go to. They seem to have every store imaginable like Brookstone and MAC Cosmetics. It has everything you need...great mall to have a wonderful shopping experience.

Suburban outdoor walking mall comprises 140 specialty shops for home and wardrobe needs.. Anchored by four department stores (Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Lord & Taylor and Macy's), the center offers a unique North Shore shopping experience. More than 140 specialty shops and restaurants cater to a mid- to upscale shopping crowd and the outdoor walking setting allows for year-round open-air enjoyment. The center's placement adjacent to the Edens Expressway makes it easily accessible from many parts of the Chicago area. A multi-screen cinema, restaurants like Frontera Fresco and McCormick & Schmick's and great shops like Zara and L.L. Bean continue to showcase Old Orchard's commitment to a well-rounded retail experience.
