Don't GO !!!!!.
This is the worst restaurant ever.
My friend's daughter worked here for a couple of months and what she told us is really unbelievable:
First, no wonder the service is unpleasant and not nice-the poor girls that are working there are getting paid 0$ per hour and the owner takes 30% from their earned tip evry night. Besides this he is 2-3 months behind with their checks...and they have to beg for their money. Well, all the waitstuff and the kitchen stuff are immigrants whith no working permits and the owner is using them. How do you expect to get a nice and friendly service when he treats them this way?
Another thing is, the desserts are made by the owner's wife, who doesn't follow any sanitary rules at all:she doesn't wash he hands and is licking the cream from her fingers while mixing it.
And they are very fake people, they smile to you and then turn around and swear at you...
And the good reviews are written by them...
If you choose to visit Mirani's after this message then : Good Luck !!!
Great Bistro Food, cozy but chic atmosphere. I have no idea why the previous rating states that Mirani's "doesn't deserve to be in business" because the restaurant actually moved to a larger location due to its growing popularity about one year ago. Their food is delicious, very reminiscent of the bistro fare I get on frequent trips to Paris. The service was the only thing I would complain about, (although they have never messed up my order), but the waitresses seem young and do not know a whole lot about wines. Either way, I always enjoy going to Mirani's not only because of the food, but because of the atmosphere that surrounds the place. Everyone there seems to know each other, people are all so friendly, the music is fun, the owners are always there greeting people. I am a regular at Mirani's and intend to keep going there for years.
Slow, Ugly and Uneatable!.
The service is painfully slow and of four dinners ordered, three were wrong. When we finally got our food the presentation was horrible, a small piece of salmon floating in a bowl of brown lentil soup. Two of my guests tried but were unable to finish the meal. The follwing day I called and complained to the owner, he acknowledged their delays and serving the incorrect dishes but refused to make any accomodation on a $200 bill.
It has been years since I have been to a restaurant as bad as Mirani's. They do not deserve to be in business.
