In Short – Red-and-white tablecloths, family-sized tables and friendly staff contribute to the convivial atmosphere for those dining in, but this popular local restaurant chain is a favorite for takeout, too. Thin-crust pizzas are cut in squares, heavy on mozzarella, easy on sauce. Stuffed pies are flaky-crusted with ingredients that include fresh pineapple, shrimp and classic pepperoni, onion, green pepper and the like. Other popular plates include sandwiches (Italian beef, sausage, meatball), salads and a plethora of pasta dishes.
Sad it was my first food in Chicago!

I had so many people tell me about the wonderful food and service in Chicago! After landing at O'Hare I made my way to the Rosemont area to find my hotel, and saw this quaint looking italian place along the way. After a long day traveling it seemed like a wonderful distraction - and a fun way to experience Chicago style pizza. Boy was I disappointed!!! The pizza was horrible - and even cold! And the service was rude and spotty at best. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone - and wish I had read the prior review before stopping!!!
- Cons: Food, service, you name it...

Nightmare

First thing was the lack of air-conditioning. Next was the wrong dressings for the salads. Then came the Lasagna, which tasted like soap and had some gritty texture on top of the cheese. Eggplant Parmason (dry and old, hard to cut with a knife, no Italian taste present, even the pasta that came with tasted like it was made earlier in the week. The Supreme deep dish pizza which was suppose to consist of sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, and onions, was mostly onions and tasted like an old frozen pizza. None of the entrees tasted remotely fresh. We also kept hearing other customers complaining about the long wait for their orders and the lame excuses the waiter and manager came up with. To sum up our experience, it was a nightmare.
