Be Afraid - Be Very Afraid!!!. Ordered a sausage sandwich last night - one bite told me it was bad (old and foul tasting). Wrapped it up and put it in the fridge to return today (with receipt). Not only did the manager refuse to give me my money back, (said I should have called last night) but he threatened to call the police if I did not leave the store. Had never been in the place before and was appalled at the filthy conditions. Will never, ever go there again. Stay away for your own heath!
Good Pizza - Terrible Customer Service. I have been ordering from Danny's for about 8 years and their service has gotten progressively worse. Now I understand it's a pizza place and sometimes they will take 2 hours to deliver during peak charges, or they accidentally double charge your credit/debit card and manager Jerry likes to argue and make you send them proof via bank statement (because apparentley they cannot track that?). However, the final nail in the coffin I am burying my relationship with Danny's was this weekend. At 9:15 we order a pizza with pepperoni, onions and very, very easy cheese. Our pizza arrives at 10:00 but, upon opening the pizza we are delivered a sausage, peperroni and extra cheese pizza. I call Danny's and I nicely ask for a credit on my account as I do no want to wait until 11:00 to eat. Jerry (manager) tells me that that's too bad because they already started making the new pizza and i will need to return the old one. I was too tired to argue & at that point was so taken back by this guys horrendous customer service skills that I returned the pizza (after stomping on it - ok, very juvenile but I was so aggravated) and will do my part to share my experience with others. Please note, my frustration comes with us ordering from there weekly, never calling to complain (except with my credit card), and always tip the drivers very well! So long Jerry!
terrible customer service. In a world where you should treat people the way you want to be treated theese fols fail terribly. They should not be allowed to be in business
Their pizza is awful (sticks to the box and the cheese is almost stale like. Their pizza is awful (sticks to the box and the cheese is almost stale like). The customer service was awful on 2 occasions. When I complained about the pizza to the owner, Jerry, the guy gave me an attitude about how he used "quality ingredients". Let me tell you that the cheese tastes awful, it's hard for me to describe. You are better off spending the 10-15.00 at Papa John's or another restaurant. NOT RECOMMENDED. stay away.
Real pizza, that's real good!. Better than Home Run Inn. Thin, flaky crust, an abundance of mozzarella chesse; that isn't covered over with sauce that another well known pizzeria does: why do they do that anyway? And Danny's sauce is what you would expect to taste on a truly great Chicagoland Pizza!
