Great homemade noodles.. Ideal location across from the Elmhurst Metra Station. Bob and Tina have been the owners of this gem for 30 years. A warm, comfortable and clean place to enjoy specialties like Kung Pao Chicken and yummy soups perfect for wintery nights.
I love this place.. My wife and I have been going to Red Dragon for the past 12 years or so. The food there is always top notch, the atmosphere is tranquil and the staff is always friendly and sharing a laugh or smile with you. We have had many of their items on thier menu, one of my favorites is the Beef Chop Suey, Reasonable prices, in the heart of Elmhurst, you cannot go wrong.
cook lives in roch filled apartment and smells like urine a. My brother lives in the building that the cook at the Red Dragon works at and when ever we go there the whole building smells like urine. The building has roeches and my brother says that ever since they moved in it smells like urine and they now have roeches. We used to order from the red dragon all the time but now NO WAY. If the cook can smell like that and live with roeches who knows what he is bring in to work with him. We had ordered food from there a couple timesin the last three months and it doesn't have any taste to it. It used to be good.
Favorite Chinese Restaurant. Quality chinese food is hard to come by, but luckily I hail from a town that is home to the Red Dragon. Not only is the food delicious but the owners are so warm and friendly. They treat you like family. I can't go anywhere else for chinese food.
Editorial Review. Dishing up Szechuan, Mandarin and Cantonese platters in a comfortable, ornate dining room alongside the Metra tracks.
