GREAT CLIPS GENEVA... not so great.
Some companies spend millions to get customers in the store, only to drive them away with employees who truly don't care about the people they serve.
That was certainly the case today. A seemingly reasonable request to use a coupon from another Great Clips, DENIED! How about a coupon printed on my receipt from last haircut? DENIED, because it was a copy on my phone and not the original. Reasonable, but when I asked to come back with the original, DENIED. Wow.
I spoke with the "manager", Isabel who was absolutely no help. Apparently, a manager at the GENEVA GREAT CLIPS is unable to override a coupon or give the customer any discount for any reason. Wow.
I asked my stylist, Donna for the regional manager's info or the number for corporate but of course nobody could remember that. Apparently everyone at the Geneva Great clips developed an acute sense of amnesia at around noon today. Not to worry. I'm quite certain I will get a reply from the franchise owner and post it here for all to see.
And the haircut? Does it really matter at this point?
An adult woman who is probably a talented stylist but has NO business managing anything has just found a way to humiliate a repeat customer in front of his family over a $3 coupon, not to mention lying about what she can and cannot do as manager. If you are reading this and you're from Great Clips, perhaps a closer look at who you're empowering is in order.
As for my family and I, after 15 years, we will NEVER again set foot in the Geneva Great Clips.
