Love the haircut!

Jayce is what makes it special! I went to him at another salon and HEARTED his haircut! When the old hair salon called me and said Jayce no longer worked there, I went on a search to find him again! Thankfully there is a cult love for him out there, and I found him @ Salon 161!

Jayce takes his time, cuts well, wants to be sure you are satisfied (even telling me, that if you don't like it, call me ASAP so we can fix it!) He has been talking about how great brownish red highlights would look, but I've been against it. Then I lost my job and needed a change and a boost, so went for it. He did it in about 20 minutes, and they look fantastic! He really takes his time (sometimes I'm there almost 2 hours for a haircut and blowout), but he's funny and talkative and the time just flies by! Let's put it this way - I'm willing to drive about an hour in to get his haircut, when I could go to any hair salon within 15 minutes, but they just don't do the same. He really truly seems to want you to be ecstatic about your haircut and I AM!!

I wish the haircut wouldn't last as long so I could go more often! I keep looking at my hair and thinking, I don't NEED a haircut, but I want to go back!

Jayce is AMAZING - Great location - Excellent Prices

I've been seeing Jayce for about a year now and he never fails to surprise me with his expertise. He's excellent at both color and cuts!!! I have long hair, between my shoulder blades, and he makes sure to not take off too much (my hair just doesn't grow anymore) and to give me a thorough trim thoughout. I hate leaving a salon and finding split ends!!

As far as color goes, Jayce keeps me up with the seasons - I'm a brunette naturally (but I've also been Britney-blonde, a redhead, and goth black, so experimenting doesn't bother me), and I like add a little shimmer to my mousy brown. Although Jayce knows about my experimenting days (those days are over now that I'm in a professional environment) he still takes the time to walk me through the colors and that things are "not too blonde, not to dark" (even though I wouldn't really mind!).

Point is, he takes his time and really gets to know what you want - and trust me, he can provide. Last week when I saw him, I brought in a picture of a celebrity and asked him to copy the cut. My boyfriend was shocked, he was like, "it looks EXACTLY like the picture!"

Money well spent, friends, on a great cut and color. He's hilarious too and that makes it that much more enjoyable!!

Same old salon with same people

This salon is old like the building. They think they are up to date but really out of touch like the rest of the over rated salons in the area. I call it the salon of "Smoke n Mirrors" and there are many out there this is just another one beware.
