Good food, convenient location, low prices!. The food here is great for the price. Don' expect something fancy, but definitely give it a try if you like authentic, flavorful Mexican food. It's especially convenient for those of us who sometimes stumble off the red line on a Friday or Saturday night. Their queso fundido is pretty good, as well as the beef tacos!

You can't beat their steak burrito...especially if it's after midnight!. Although living so close makes this an extremely biased review, there's not a meal that caps off a night like a steak burrito from Caminos! I've actually ordered dinner at a more normal time - 6 or 7 pm. Although a cheap/decent dinner, I wouldn't recommend it. I also wouldn't recommend the chicken burrito though the chicken tacos were good enough. The guacamole wasn't anything to write home about. Simply put, stick with what works - a great steak burrito, Coke from a glass bottle, delicious chips/salsa, etc. after a night of Tom Foolery.

Tiny taqueria offers a number of dinner-sized specialties to diverse clientele.. In Short
On weekends in particular, North Side families by day and a 20-something takeout crowd at night flock to this small taco joint. Diners of all ages choose from among plates like spicy pastor (pork) tacos with onions, cilantro, lettuce and tomato; giant steak burritos with beans, sour cream and cheese; mushroom quesadillas and more.

Solid food betrayed by awful service. We live a block from Michoacan and often look to TexMex-type food to 'save' us when we dont feel like cooking or spending much money. Unfortunately, we've stopped coming because they ALWAYS get our order wrong! Ive lost count of the number of times that I've either waited 20-30 minutes after CALLING IN ADVANCE, or received the wrong items. The staff seems totally nonchalant about this, doing nothing to correct problems when we've complained. The general lack of English skills amongst the staff makes it a chore to communicate as well. Also, while the food normally tastes fine, there were instances of cold, bland food and one time that my wife's platter reeked of cigarette smoke. I don't expect much from these places, just for my order to be right and timely, and to get hot food at a reasonable price. McDonalds can do it, why cant this place?
