BEST EXPERIENCE EVER. NO QUESTION!!

My only quam is the parking situation. Thanks to the new LegoLand next door, we all must leave a few minutes earlier to scan the parking lot for a spot, but it's totally worth it when you step inside Asha! From the smiling polite girls who greet you to the warm neck pillows, tea and water upstairs, Asha always makes you feel welcome. So far, I have experienced one service from each department and have not had a problem yet! My hair colorist Heidi found the perfect hair color to go with my skintone and I am so incredibly happy with it! My haircut is literally PERFECT, not a hair out of place! Thanks to Kelly! As long as I live in this area, I will never go to another spa other than ASHA.
Pros: everything
Cons: parking
- Pros: Heidi and Kelly
- Cons: parking
Misuse of the word "spa"!

So I am just a regular husband that wanted to do something nice for his wife. Unfortunately, I got her a gift certificate for this "spa" in Schaumburg. I have been to a spa twice in my life, once in Scottsdale (Camel Back Mtn), and once in the WI Dells. Both of those places created a total "environment" of pleasure, nice music, serenity, etc. Stay away from this trap/strip-mall in Schaumburg. Despite the description above, this is NOT a "serene setting!" While they may be able to offer a decent massage, facial, or haircut, they drastically overbook their facility. To have a line of 7-10 women waiting for a shower is a joke. To have people actually miss their treatment appointment times due to a lack of adequate shower facilities is also a joke.
They should not be able to use the word "spa." At best, they offer misc. services, but this fails to resemble my 2 prior experiences at other facilities that properly understand what a spa experience really should be.
To my dear wife...sorry...I'll make it up next year honey!
- Pros: Market name
- Cons: Clearly not a spa! OVERBOOKING, insufficient facilities!
terrible spa

the spa at asha is terrible
i went in to get a facial. first off, the have 2 dressing/locker rooms/toliets. there is literally a toliet just sitting there randomly in one of the locker rooms. there is one sink in between them and one shower. the shower is alright, but it has some giant surge of freezing cold water that comes down on you. why? i have no clue. while i was getting my facial, she used one of those metal tools. i have never in my facial getting life have ever had someone use any scraping tools on me. it was terrible. and when i was trying to relax, all i can hear is the bumping music next door in the hair salon. i was already annoyed with my spa experience , but i was looking forward to my free blowdry from an intern in the salon. when i booked my appointment, the woman who wrote me in told me about it so i was excited. after my shower, i sat in the waiting area for an intern for about 30 minutes. 5 of the hair stylists were just chatting away doing nothing and the intern was just wandering around. so im sitting there looking like an idiot with soaking wet hair waiting. then she starts to blowdry my hair. i'm middle eastern and i have long hair so its long and thick. she didnt even think to separate it. she just started attacking my hair with a brush. i wanted to cry. i gave her my big round brush since she decided to try to tame my hair with those tiny brushes for women with short hair. i still cant get over how bad my experience was. never again!!! if you want to go to a good spa go to the city, spacio is one of my favorites. and until burke williams opens a spa in chicago, nothing compares to their spa in california.
