No need to drive downtown for a killer breakfast.
Best breakfast and lunch. Killer eggs, French toast, perfect bacon, fresh oatmeal. Lunch: I'm all over the fresh salad and a burger, grilled buns and everything is fresh. The place is family owned and the same servers have been there for a zillion years and a day. Husband and wife team own, run and cook and serve. Real Americana right in Hinsdale. I'm very conscious aware of the temperatures that the soup is served at which is nice and hot, the salad is cold and crisp, the cottage cheese is perfect and cold. They obviously follow safe food handling practices. When you walk in the back door, you can see the staff scrubbing pots with steamy and soapy hot water, just the way it should be done. I'm a customer and not in any way financially affiliated with Pages, just the way all reviews should be. It's just good home cooking!
