In Short – Third-generation cobbler Mike Morelli repairs stretched out, water worn and faded shoes and restores them back to a like-new condition. Morelli and his team can manually stretch shoes to fit feet, replace heels, replace soles, move straps and buckles and repair leather goods. Local theater production companies regularly call on the business for restoration work, as do big-name retailers and designers such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Stuart Weitzman, Jill Sander and Prada.

Forget about ?forget the hype?
Brooks shoes have been a mainstay in the Chicago Market with unwavering service and quality work. I?ve used them over the past twenty five years; my friends have used them for as long or longer.
If you really need your Ferragamos, Aldens, Tods? and the like become as new again, there is no better place to go. American craftsmanship at it?s very best! Thank you.

Poor business practices and customer service

After a recent experience at Brooks, here are three reasons why I recommend not soliciting this establishment:
1) I was quoted a price for a given amount of work, and they ended up doing less work than they had said (without notifying me!) and permanently altering my item in a manner in which I didn't want.
2) Exorbitantly expensive, given the amount of work that was done
3) I was treated extremely rudely by the owner

This place is really over-rated. The prices are outrageous and they completely wrecked my favotite pair of shoes -- that was after inncreasing the original estimate for re-soleing by 50%. Never again!

If you're pressed for time and don't want to contend with parking, ask about curbside delivery and pickup. Someone can meet you on the street to drop off or pick up your kicks.
