LOVE IT!!!. This is definetly one of my favorite places to eat. They have good food, good prices, and good staff. Its almost like having a family when you go here. I like coming at 2:30 AM when im about to go in the house. Since I live on roosevelt, it makes it easy to get there (#12 cta stops across the street). So I would definetly reccomend this place :)

This South Side diner is still frying up the same good food since 1939 with a side of memoribilia.. In Short
A bold-faced red sign adds an inviting touch to this neighborhood favorite. Known for its cheap eats, a mixed crowd of college faces, locals and seniors gather around to snag a glimpse at the decor. Framed newspaper clips of notable Chicago sporting events line up next to the famous mural of well-known Chicago personalities like Oprah and the Blues Brothers. Favorites include the pancho villa omelet, grits and chili fries.
