“Well, no longer: while they still have the premium price, their service is poor and follow-up even worse.”
outdated and not valid. folks something stinks in the garden when i read these reviews... sounds like one person writing several reviews and what is more interesting is Christy Webber Landscapes hasn't been located on Western ave for over 5 years. City Search needs to update it's website and have accurate information or otherwise how credible can it really be? I wish i could remember when i didn't return a phone call!!! Read with caution and know that Christy Webber Landscapes is a good landscape company and tries everyday to meet or exceed our clients expectations. thanks for your time, Christy
Used to Be Good, Now Not So Much. I remember when Christy Webber used to be good: they were premium priced, but offered premium service. Well, no longer: while they still have the premium price, their service is poor and follow-up even worse. We're still waiting for them to complete a project that started nine months ago!
can i give them zero stars?. reading these reviews, i thought maybe it was just me who had the weird experience with them. i saw christy webber trucks everywhere so thought they would be a reputable service. i think their city contracts have made them lazy. they expect YOU to kiss the ring. you have to earn the right to have them take your money and provide you a service. give me a break christy! i can find another service that actually wants my business and is willing to do the utmost minimum to earn it. i say move on and find someone elese. don't bother with this place.
Need to go Union. I think Christy Webber landscaping should go Union. Lets pay workers a fair wage in Chicago. I saw her workers sleeping on the taxpayers dime at ChicagoClout. I did not see any Americans working at the company.
Non-responsiveness.
I have been trying to get a hold of this company for the summer. I left several messages and got no response. I finally told the receptionist who answered that I was pretty irate, left several messages and have not heard from anyone. I finally was referred to someone and left a message. This message too was left unanswered. A few weeks later, I called that same individual and left an irritated message and finally got a call back the next day. After we spoke, she referred me to another group who would call and make an appointment to come out and see my place and plan the service. Never heard from that guy. I called back a week later and then she tells me it's so late in the season that Christy Webber cannot take me on as a customer.
I gave her some feedback about how disappointed and frustrated with the lack of responsiveness and that if I would treat my clients like this, I would be out of a job.
How do you deal with someone who doesn't respond? Give them feedback and go somewhere else.
Christy Webber won't return calls. I belong to a condo association and when Christy Webber landscaping was not providing adequate service, I called to talk to Christy herself as well as the maintenance supervisor named Rusty. After several attempts of calls and emails, I still have not even received ONE CALL RETURNED. AND I AM A CUSTOMER! We just would like to know, now that it is early June, what are we going to do with our courtyard. It's always amazing to me when businesses will go out of their way to get new business--and spend countless amount of money on proposals, advertisings, etc. etc but treat their current customers like "dirt" (pardon the pun!)....
