I called Logan Square Pest Control out to my home as a preventive measure because I didn't want to have a bug problem. They came out and sprayed my baseboards. They left a white residue all around my baseboards and told me to leave it there for two weeks. I'm 8 months pregnant, and asked them if it was poison of any type, and they assured me it was safe. Within a week I started seeing spiders. In the last two days, I've killed over 20 brown house spiders. I left a message for the owner, who promptly called me back and offered to come back out and redo the job. I explained that the job they did didn't work, and asked them what they were going to do differently this time. He said nothing, that they were going to do the same thing. Then he told me I was making him feel bad and HUNG UP on me! I'm calling Terminix today to come out and do the job right!

unprofessional behavior. I was initially impressed with this company because they were advertising that they were environmentally responsible. They came out to spray for ants early in the year after there had been a warm spell. They said to call if the ants weren't gone in two weeks. After two weeks the ants weren't gone and I called, but then there was a cold snap and the ants disappeared before they showed up to respray. I called back and said I couldn't see any more ants, and asked if it might be because of the weather. The guy who talked to me was very nice and said he would not send anyone this time but would extend my respray period for two weeks and to call if I started seeing more ants. Apparently they neglected to tell the guy who does the spraying, so he made an unnecessary trip, but that wasn't my fault. Today I called back because the weather has been warm for two days and the ants are back and the guy who I talked to was rude and told me I should have called before, he kept interrupting me when I tried to tell him that the guy before had given me two more weeks. He finally told me the service manager would call me back. Bottom line, they aren't very professional. They should know that the weather affects their business and make allowances, and they shouldn't have rude people answering the phone.
