After my husband and I adopted our dog, Duffy, we began researching for the best vet practice in Chicago. Luckily, we know tons of dog lovers in the city who highly recommended Family Pet to us. We actually had to go to another vet practice beforehand since time was of the essence due to enrolling in doggy daycare...however, I didn't like that place so much, so when when we had our first visit to Family Pet...WOW! From the receptionists (this vet practice has highly-intelligent people working the phones and check-ins...you know how critical that is especially if it's an emergency for your pet) to the vet techs and the vets, your pet will be in the best medical facility with so much love! Family Pet always treats our dog with excellent loving care...we TRUST Family Pet!

This past Monday, I had to make the gut-wrenching decision to put my 14 yr. old doxie down due to irreversible organ failure. She had been a part of our family since she was 6 weeks old. This was my first meeting with the staff and Dr. Li, at Family Pet, as we have just recently relocated here. I was so impressed by their flawless compassion and care throughout this painful process. I've never had such gentle care shown me by any other vet. I am looking forward to adopting a new dog, after some mourning and already know where we will get our vet care. Kudos to everyone at Family Pet!

I have been taking my dog to FPET since he was a puppy. I love all the DR's there and they are alwasy know me by name when I come in. It is really nice to have a neighborhood vet that you trust to take of your dog. If he is ever sick all I have to do is just call them and they get us in that very day. The staff and DR's are really sweet and always take time to answer all of my questions. No wonder they were voted best vet practice this year! Good Job!
