We All Ended Up Sick. Thought we would head out for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner, but ended up with an awful experience. The wait time for our order to be taken, food to be delivered, and our bill to be taken was extremely long. (Our waitress had forgotten about us.) We were not told that the specials did not apply until after we had ordered. I ordered the tortellini carbonara which was overcook and mushy. I was not told that the restaurant was out of bacon ( a main ingredient in my dish) until my dinner was already served to me. Everyone in our party came home ill after eating at Luby's. We will never go back. There are too many excellent restaurants in the Tinley area for us to risk getting sick and having terrible service.…
You Can't Go Wrong Here. Nestled along the Metra Railroad Tracks is Lavery's Pub. It's a cozy dining establishment with a terrific menu. I've been there many times and have never, ever been disappointed with either the food or service. While waiting for my friends, I've sat at the bar and the service was friendly. When my friends and I have something to celebrate, we always meet at Lavery's. No need to go anywhere else! Quiet enough to carry on a conversation! Cobbini Salad is Delicious!…
