I've brought my cat here twice and I can tell everyone is very friendly and knoledable.I would say this is the best veterinarian clinic in Chicago.

Best vet in Chicago!. This is a great veterinary clinic. I started going here years ago with my pets. I try to see Dr Barzyk if at all possible, because she is by far the best vet there, and from my experience, in Chicago! She's prompt, honest, extremely knowledgable, and really wants to try and do what's best for my animals. I have gone to other vets in Chicago, and not a one compares to her. She's also the most compassionate veterinarian I have come across too. I recommend her to anyone. She recently got back from maternity leave (thank GOD!), so you have to book your appointments with her early, since she's only there on Fridays and Saturdays. I am sure Higgins is not the cheapest vet around, but Dr. Barzyk will do only what she deems necessary for the health of your pet.
