The best animal hospital, period!

I am currently taking my second generation of pup to Harper for care. Previously, my family had always taken their dogs to Harper Animal Hospital for care.

I can't describe the compassion, understanding, and willingness to help in any way possible. Dr. John Abel is an excellent doctor, and by no means is Dr. Amy Leppin in his shadow.

Both doctors had helped me with my first puppy, all the way through to the end of his life. My last dog had many health complications, and always needed special attention and/or treatment.

Dr Abel and Dr. Leppin were always there for me everytime I needed medical attention for my dog, and they always went out of their way to make sure everything was covered... and were always able to pinpoint his health problems.

My dog lived to a life of 12 years... without Dr. Abel and Dr. Leppin, he would not have made it nearly as long as he did.

They truly love animals, and the guardians of those animals.

You will not find a better pet medical facility anywhere else!

Great Vets

Great doctors...very friendly, explained everything, reasonably priced. We found this place about a year ago and have nothing but great things to say.

Terrific Practice!

I truly feel lucky that I selected this practice after moving to the area in 2006. I knew no one in the area with pets, and after doing some research on the web, I decided to try Harper. They have now helped me through the death of one cat, and the diagnosis and treatment of my other cat for chronic renal disease. He was so sick when I came back from vacation in 2007, that when I brought him in his prognosis was very guarded. We began treatment which was only expected to give him another 4-6 months. Now, over 1 year later, he is doing very well and I expect that he will have several more years of the quality life he has now. I also bring my dog for yearly check-ups and have brought him for a dental cleaning.

The staff at Harper is experienced, professional, compassionate, skilled, and supportive. I cannot say enough about the veterinarians and technicians. I have no reservations about recommending them. I have had pets all my life and lived in several places. So I have had quite a few vets over the years. I can honestly say that the vets at Harper are among the best that I have ever worked with.

• Cons: Can't think of any.

THE BEST PLACE TO TAKE YOUR ANIMALS- HANDS DOWN!!!!

Honestly- you will never find a more caring - wonderful- group of vets and staff. These people need to clone themselves!!! They are just wonderful!!!!!

• Cons: I am in the city and this is a long drive- !! so what- it is worth it!!!!
