The Best Little Find

It is such a cozy place I feel like I am right at home. The crust is done crispy every time, the cheese has such a unique blend that explodes in your mouth. If Pizza is cooked right the cheese opens up and adds great flavor. I have had the sausage every time. Spend the time its well worth it. This type of Pizza is what makes it fun to live in Chicago.

Good local pizza

It's nice to find a local pizza joint to sink your teeth into! Good calzones too! Family owned. Real sausage, not mystery bits.

Me likes...!

They don't take debit card or credit. They do take cash or check.

This establishment is very "little Italy" like with its old fashioned Pizza oven and seating. The atmosphere is very italian--even the guy who answers the phone is named "Tony". Because they are in every sense "old fashioned", you can expect good personalities from Rocky's staff.

The Pizza is good. Good in the sense that there's enough cheese and sauce but not so much that you're soaking up grease with a napkin. The crust is well put together and in my opinion makes for a tasty slice of heaven. Now, you can get better---or worse throughout Chicago. You can pay more too. But for my convenience (based on location) coupled with good wholesome service capped with a product worth writing about makes for a very happy customer. You won't lose your pocket book either. An extra large cheese cost me with tax and delivery roughly 15 bucks.

Worth one visit

The pizza is indeed distinctive, and sausage tastes good on it, but still too much cheese, cheap ingredients, and boring crust make it just a notch above average.

Unpretentious and unparalleled pizza

One of the best pizza places in and around Chicago. The place is small and clean and very much like a neighborhood joint. The pizza is just right in evry sence - unless you were looking for a ton of cheese on a crust (then you would go to one of many places who serve just that!) Rocky's pizza crsut has a definite taste and flavor to it. The pizza sauce is slightly tangy and not sweet. Load it up with your favorite toppings and you will have the best pizza in Chicago area.
