just one word fair.very fair. this shop turn my peice of junk and made it safe, i do not have alot of money this car should be in a junk yard. but they fix a couple of little things and made it better.i meet the owner fonda,his a truly good man i see it in his eyes, hje helped me out when i have nothing,my the lord bless this man,for is truly a man of men.i never white anything good about any one, these guys are doing it right really right.

grrrrrrrrreat service. came in on a freinds recommendation,they were right,They treated my very nice I drop off my car they called me with an est.they fixed it right the first time they picked me up at the office.Thats all I could ask for it was painless good honest people.I would recommend sterlingauto to all my freinds

DONE RIGHT. MY CAR BROKE DOWN ON MY WAY HOME ONE NIGHT CALLED MY AAA SERVICE THEY GAVE ME THREE SHOPS I PICK STERLING AUTO I AM GLAD I DID THIS WAS THE BEST THING I COULD EVER DO. I HAD A EST THE NEXT DAY AND THE CAR FIXED THE SAME DAY IT WAS CLEAN FAST AND A FAIR PRICE !!! I WANT TO SAY NICE JOB GUYS AND GIRLS THE COUNTER GIRL WAS FREINDLY THE PLACE WAS CLEAN EVERY BODY WAS VERY HAPPY. I WOULD ALSO WANT TO THANK AAA GREAT CHOICE FOR A SHOP.

THE VERY BEST. WENT TO STERLING ON A FREINDS RECOMMENDATION.THEY WHERE RIGHT'THIS SHOP TREATED ME VERY WELL THEY DID WHAT I ASKED THEY DID IT RIGHT AND AT A FAIR PRICE. I HOPE THEY STAY THAT WAY IF THEY DO THEY HAVE A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE.

great customer service. I took my car to sterling automotive repair for a brake job and a running problem.

They did a great job.the car never ran so good.They were very nice people to work with they gave me a ride home and pick me up when it was ready.The price was good but yhe service was great from start to finish.I would highly recommend sterling auto.Since then my son has been there for a oil change and he said they where very nice,my family is hooked !!!

I would like to say thank you to sterling auto, keep it up

Sterling Automotive Repair. Recently I came to Sterling to get my front brakes done. I was impressed with the quality and prices of the job. Everyone seemed to be in best of spirits and were willing to do anything and everything in my car's best interest. I couldn't have asked for anything better!

Avoid this mechanical. Very upset expeirence!

I went there twice for a minor problem and the problem was still there after they charged me $600+. Don't want to go there the third time.

Don't understand why it has a overall score at 9.3. From my point of view, the score is misleading. I went there for the high review score but its service was far from 9.3 out 10.

Here is the detail:

one month ago, my car began to die in raining day, sometimes at traffic night; at the same time, check engine light was on. I went to Sterling on 11/18 and stated very clearly to people there that I could not start my car in rain. They then changed some valve and charged me around $270. I came home in a good mood.

But the second day, 11/19, the check engine light was on again. I called them and they said they might forgot to reset check engine light. Two days later, my car died again! so basically I paid $270 but no improvement of car was observed.

I called AAA on 11/25 and AAA towed my car to Sterling. This time they said it was due to plug/ignition problem and charged me around $380 after $75 discount.

I got my car back on 11/27. Then on 11/28, the check engine light was on again! Called them and was told that they might forget to reset check engine light the second time!

I request a refund for $270 which I paid for my first visit. But they only agree to check my car one more time. However, from my point of view I don't think they are capable to sovle this problem because they have already tried it twice. I would rather go any other mechanic to completely fix my car.

went in for a oil change i got so much more. I WENT TO STERLING AUTOMOTIVE FOR A OIL CHANGE AND I GOT GREAT SERVICE AT A GREAT PRICE.I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND STERLING TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO GET TREATED GREAT.I HAVE A 2005 HONDA WITH COUPON I PAID $18.00 FOR A OIL CHANGE I WAS IN AND OUT IN ABOUT 20. MIN.THEY THEATED ME LIKE I SPENT $1000.00 DOLLORS I WOULD TO SAY THANK YOU,A CSTOMER FOR EVER.GUS

Great Work. Prompt, Fast Courteous! I would recommend this shop to anyone in the Fox Valley area. This is the finest shop in the area. The staff at Sterling is genuine and friendly. They even have a great website!
