Budget downtown lunch and dinner

On numerous occassions have visited Ronny's Steak house. For those eating on a budget can't beat the place. Very busy place and close to public transportation. Located on the Northeast End of the State of Illinois Center. Their 8 oz steak, potatoe, salad, garlic bread and a drink was less than 15.00. They have a complete menu. Go there as much as I can!

Dying to get back to Chicago just to visit Ronny's again!

OH WOW! My husband and I visited Chicago a good thirteen years ago, and Ronny's left such an impression on us that we STILL talk about it! I remember eating there every single day once we found it~the prices were AWESOME and we were treated sooo well! Back then they had a huge and wonderful breakfast too. The lemonade was AMAZING~I still try to recreate it in my home today, but it's not quite as good. :)

• Pros: GREAT prices, GREAT food, GREAT service!!!!
• Cons: I live many states away.... :(

Oh so happy with Ronny's

The high arching booths, the red leatherette chairs by the window fit for a queen, and the staff that were congenial and good for a chuckle...these things were just added bonus' compared to the food that was fast, fantastic and nearly free compared to other steakhouses around the world. What a bargain! Miss this and make the biggest mis-steak of your life!

Good place for a tourist to go

I've been here a couple of times when visiting Chicago's loop area. take your tray down the line and order your meat and they'll pile on the extras like the baked potato and veggies. Get a lemonade or fruit coctail at the end of the line and grab a seat, watch the traffic on Wabash out the window. It's a good value but not necessarily cheap. Good if you need fast , good food on the run.

Ronny's is the BEST!

My family and I frequently visit the spectacular Windy City and everytime we go we have to make a stop at Ronny's! They have the greatest servings of food for the best price. Of course, we have to make sure we are EXTREMELY hungry when we go because with a main dish, salad, texas garlic toast AND baked potatoe, your hunger is bound to be satisfied. I've been going there since I was a little girl and I will make a point to visit this wonderful little restaurant with such a comfortable at home feel EVERY time I go to Chicago! YUM YUM YUM!
