First rate dentistry

I was a person who refused to go to the dentist's office for about 10 years! The only news you'll hear from a dentist is bad, right? I finally felt the time had come, and two friends (independently) recommended Dr. Caldwell at the Kimberly Smiles office on Milwaukee ave, northside Chicago. Lucky I did, as I needed to have 4 wisdom teeth pulled. Following the extractions with an oral surgeon (not at Kimberly Smiles office), I returned to Dr. Caldwell and her staff to have a root canal on an impacted molar, and completely rebuild the crown (all in one sitting with no painful healing). The office is, as another reviewer said, state-of-the-art, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. My wife and I have both returned for routine cleanings and nicer-looking replacement fillings. We recently relocated cross-country and Dr. Caldwell sent me some great resources to find her eventual replacement. They have a tough act to follow!

• Pros: state-of-the art facility, friendly staff, talented work
• Cons: sitting in a dentist's chair is by no means a party

Great service and attention to my dental needs. From the receptionist to the doctor's assistants and the doctor, everything went better than any dental appointment I've ever had.

I was initially impressed by the hip interior and LCD screen above my chair. As the visit continued, I found this office had more than just asthetics to offer. The staff was all very friendly and helpful, and Dr. Caldwell wasn't rushed. The last appointment is taken at 6 PM which is quite convenient for 9-5 folks. A variety of cosmetic services are also offered, but never annoyingly pushed during my scheduled cleaning. I left my appointment with great-feeling teeth and a smile ready to recommend!

Also, major insurance providers are accepted, unlike some of the other "dental boutiques" in the city.
