Low prices and sleek, modern design draw shoppers to this interior decorating superstore.. In Short
Hopen, Malm, Aneboda-no, those are not suggestions to name your pet, but the Swedish names of IKEA's designer furnishings and decorative odds and ends. Created with a "one-way" layout in mind, shoppers weave through a labyrinth of seemingly endless showrooms stocked with equipment to creatively accessorize every room under the sun. With patrons ranging from groups of freshmen students looking to outfit their tiny dorms to entire families, the store offers a huge repertory of styles, patterns and colors for every unique taste. And speaking of tastes, the small restaurant just beyond the cashiers serves up traditional Swedish fare for those who worked up an appetite.

Nothing bad. What's not to love about Ikea, especially this here one in Schaumburg (meaning "Cream Mountain" in German). Floors and aisles and floors of reasonably priced furniture and cool things. Moving into a new place? H1t up Ikea.

Man, I don't have words for this place.. I try to get here every time I'm in town... bargains and selection galore. I like the simple designs and it fits my taste and pricetag perfectly. Why don't they have one where I live!?!

Scandanavian eclectic. All you'll need is a couple of dollars when visiting Ikea the first time. ...a few dollars to purchase 'something' - which you will - since the prices of their object 'art are so reasonable. Then the next time you shop there, you may go into the more pricey items that make a house feel like a trendy home.

Like a fine wine Ikea is divine. I'm from Minneapolis and the first time I was at Ikea I felt like I was in a different world. It has an atmosphere like no other. Here at home I make sure I tell people to stop and just look in the big blue store if they head to Chi-town. Guaranteed for a purchase. You can't help it. And I love the cart escalators. I drive the 8 hours once a month just to shop.
