“But seriously, if you are in the area and thinking about dining at the Moondance restaurant, do yourself a favor and go about 2 miles west down Ogden Avenue and go to the Omega restaurant an establishment that has a wonderful atmosphere and absolutely out”
“The waffels are delicious especially when you top them with strawberries and a generous portion of whipped cream.”

Great breakfast.
I saw a review of this place on Yelp the other day and the fam and I decided to try it out Saturday morning, and we were not disappointed. This place is kind of tucked away and I don't know if I would have ever noticed it without someone else having told me it was there.
The wait time was about 15 minutes as it was quite busy. Our waitress was very nice and friendly and the menu had a nice selection of food. There's even a healthy section, which my wife chose from.
You get a lot of food, but the price is also a tad high. I wish there were an option for like 3/4 of the food for 3/4 of the price or something, as my wife and daughter were full and not able to finish their plates.
We're definitely adding Moondance to our rotation of breakfast places to eat at and we'll tell our friends about it.
Stay Away From This Restaurant. I recently read a review of the Moondance restaurant that rated it as one of the best breakfast restaurants in the Western suburbs. After reading the review my family and I decided to try their breakfast fare. What an utter disappointment!!! The food was horrible, it was completely tasteless, and it seemed that their cooks just threw the ingredients in a skillet and let it cook until it seemed well browned. If however you are scheduled for a colonoscopy the next day, this just might be the place for you, because after dining on their ill prepared breakfast food you will find yourself in the nearest bathroom cleaning out your system. For the money you spend there, you would almost be better off going to your local gas station mini-mart and grabbing a few packaged food items and throwing them in a microwave and then get yourself a half tank of gas. But seriously, if you are in the area and thinking about dining at the Moondance restaurant, do yourself a favor and go about 2 miles west down Ogden Avenue and go to the Omega restaurant an establishment that has a wonderful atmosphere and absolutely outstanding food. Please don't subject your family or friends to this absolutely horrible culinary nightmare.
Consistently good food. I've met up with friends here everytime I'm in town visiting my parents. The food is fresh and really good each time. The prices are fair and the portions are large. I would even recommend this place over the popular Egg Harbor Cafe nearby. Service is friendly and courteous as well.
YUMMY says it all!. This place knows how to make breakfast. The waffels are delicious especially when you top them with strawberries and a generous portion of whipped cream. This place beats any of the Cracker Barrels in the south and when we come back to this area we will be back
Fantastic breakfasts!!!!! Best around for the price!. We happened to find this restaurant near our hotel and were extremely pleased with everything. We have no complaints on anything. Food is delicious, portions are generous and the service is great. I had the crepes one morning and another morning I had the egg beaters with fresh fruit and both were scrumptous. If we come back to this area we will definitely be back. Kudos to all the staff and the owners you know how to treat your patrons.
Great Breakfast place.. Love the breakfast and lunch here. Good service and value. Favorite dishes include: Blue Sensation Pancakes, Clucker Sandwich and Tortilla Soup.
