The Best in the Business!
by LeNardA at Citysearch
I stopped by one day really expecting to find extravagant prices and "snooty" salespeople (because that had been my previous experience at other optical stores). What I found was a variety of very affordable frames and the most professional and friendly sales staff you will ever encounter. Their level of customer service is comparable to that of any high-end boutique and every one is treated like an old friend. The staff was extremely helpful to me in locating my frame, offering their honest opinion of my selections. I left with quality frames and the compliments keep pouring in. (Thanks Eric!) I recommend Eyelines to anyone desiring a pleasant experience in purchasing eyewear. You will not be disappointed.
- Pros: Every customer is made to feel valued.
- Cons: No customer seating.
Meticulous at your expense

Unless you work or live within walking distance, you will pay highly for their trial and error attempts to "fit the perfect prescription" for you. This doctor could not seem to figure out what the right prescription was for my contact lenses. He sent me home with a couple of trial pairs, different prescriptions, and said that I needed to wear them for at least 4 hours before he could test whether they would be a good fit; and to bring the set that I liked the best back another day. Neither set was good!...it was tough seeing while driving at night with the blurry double vision, let alone read! Again I had to pay for parking and take another few hours off from work for more testing and more trial lenses. For my third visit, he suggested that I go somewhere for about an hour wearing yet another set of lenses to not have to go back another day. One lens seemed ideal, but not the other, so the doc became convinced that he had it right this time. Another lens was ordered and I had to wait until it came in to visit their office again...now almost 2 months have gone by. My eyes are not that difficult. I've worn lenses for almost 30 years. The staff is nice, but seems stressed and apologetic. I ended up going to another eye doctor per a friend's recommendation, who got it right the first time! I had to pay for that visit and those contacts as well! But at least I was able to see without the stress of blurry vision, and the thought of having to back to this doctor again and again and again! My time is money!! Their office visit fee are also "way over the top" when compared to other eye doctors.
- Cons: Meticulous to a fault: you pay to be their guinea pig
