My puppy had a myriad of problems when I got her at 10 weeks old and the doctors found nothing wrong with her in the first 3 visits despite her declining health. I kept taking her there, thinking it must have been a one time thing. She got very sick again a year later and almost died under their care. They said they weren't capable of doing the tests she needed (despite keeping her all day) and handed her to me limp and almost dead telling me to take her to one of 3 other animal hospitals- all over an hour away. And asked me for my credit card to charge close to $1,000 for their day of doing nothing but letting her get sicker. One doctor there is caring and helpful, another that I have been to (who has been around the longest) is dismissive and not attentive. My neighbors with healthy pets seem to like it there, but I've heard other horror stories and don't trust them with a sick dog. I hate to write such a bad review, but hope that others can get better care because of this.

Animal Lovers Beware!! - We took our healthy young female cat (Sallie) in to Gold Coast Animal Hospital on March 31, 2008 for a routine spaying. Four hours later Dr. Cohen called to say she was dead. The explanation was "we don't know what happened". Needless to say this is heartbreaking and infuriating. Someone did not do their job and our beloved cat paid the price. Perhaps we should have expected trouble when we were diercted "to bring the cat in at 7:30am" only to find that they did not open until 8 a.m. Not only did they not carry out a routine recommended procedure successfully, they also failed to perform when it was clear that something was wrong and there was an emergency situation. They failed to perform twice. Our cat was 8 months old and in perfect heath. God bless any animals being taken to these doctors that are sick. Someone did not to their job by either not paying attention, acting too slowly, not knowing what to do, or a combination of these. This conduct is unforgivable. Please think about these things before taking you pet to these people. We do not want anyone else to have to go through the pain we are experiencing.

Beware! Dangerous to your animal's health. We took our healthy 8 month old cat in to Gold Coast Animal Hospital on March 31, 2008 for a routine spaying. We dropped her off (Sallie) and four hours later Dr.Cohen called to say we lost her. She died during the operation. The explanation was we don't know what happened and why. This wrenching news was shocking, sad, unacceptable, and infuriating. Our cat was in perfect health and they bungled a routine procedure. God bless any animals that are taken there that are already sick. Someone did not do their job: they either weren't paying attention, acted too slowly, did not know what they were doing, or a combination of the three. The incompetence is tragic and our beautiful young cat paid the price. Think twice before entrusting your pets to these people. We did and we'll never forgive ourselves for doing so. We don't want anyone else to endure the pain that we are experiencing. The credo Do No Harm seems to have escaped them.
