High Quality Framing & Personal Attention. I had a very good experience at Peterson. I left 4 pieces to be matted and framed after an extensive discussion on both style options and budget. Mike was helpful in pointing out positive and negative points and accommodating my budget. I wanted the framing to be high quality and all 4 pieces were to have the same mat and frame size. Framing was on time and excellent. In hanging the 4 pieces next to each other, I noticed that one frame was less than 1/4" larger than the others. Mike corrected the frame/mat in a week's time, no charge, with a smile. I was very pleased with the final outcome.

great frames & service!. Mike is awesome! He helped me select the perfect frames & mats for my little girl's artwork. High quality framing for very reasonable prices, and also a quick turn around. Parking is easy right out front, and they will help you load your car. This place is great, and they really care about customer satisfaction.

Excellent Service. I recently had a piece framed for a going away present for my boss. My co-workers and I wanted something a little more high-quality than the pre-fab frames you can get at IKEA or even at art supply stores. The sales person helped me pick a beautiful frame and mat and the piece was ready on-time. I am very pleased with my experience at Peterson Picture Co. --- and my boss loved the gift!

good prices; nice selection of frames. I would definitely recommend Peterson Picture Co. I had a piece that required a rather quick turnaround. They helped me choose a frame and mat solution that was possible within my timeframe. The piece turned out great! The have a great selection of frames and their prices are very reasonable.

Very accommodating.... While preparing artwork to display in a group thesis exhibition at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I decided I would need to select a mat and frame to properly present a series of photographs. I went to a custom frame maker in the loop area, but they were unable to accommodate either my time-line, or price range. I was quickly running out of time, and found out about Peterson. I called and spoke to a designer who met with me that afternoon. He helped me make an informed decision and select materials that I really felt were right-on for my artwork. Despite the fact that I had a very specific presentation in mind, I was able to pick my photos up within 2-days, and the cost was significantly less than what I had been quoted downtown. The pieces looked great and I was able to stay relaxed, and install them properly.

Poor quality workmanship and not very creative. I was not pleased with the service I received at Peterson. They have a very lackluster selection. I could have got better and much cheaper frames at Ikea. I expect creativity from a custom framer and they didn't have it. Designers would be well advised to use a different frame shop.

I respectfully disagree with this review. We
have over 3000 mouldings on-site, with the ability
to get thousands more. Our matting selection are
equally numerous. I have over 30 years experience
in the field and have hand-picked my staff. On
top of a vast selection and a knowlegable staff, I personally stand behind all my companies work.
Had this person come forth and spoken to me
I would have done everything in my power to make
them satisfied with my product and service.

Best Kept Secret. Peterson Picture Co. has been providing personal quality service for my home picture framing needs over the past 15 years. Owner Mike Spear ads his personal touch by recommending ideas to the customer, but will always do what the customer wants. Be prepared; the choices of styles, colors and designs are vast! Prices are always MORE than fair. Mike guarantees customer satisfaction. Always open to the public, but best times to go are between 2-4 PM or on Saturdays. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
