Best Furs in the Midwest! Maybe even the USA!. I have shopped this store for many years - sometimes just wanting to browse the newest in fur fashion and other times because I am interested in purchasing something. The staff has been caring - considerate and very informative. They know I do not always buy - but regardless, they are accomodating. I have sent many people here from my own family members to important officials from around the USA. Garbers have designed and shipped coats for us - even to Europe. They have gone out of their way to contact specific designers on my behalf - and have dyed pelts to match an unusual shade that I wanted in sheared mink.

I would recommend Garbers over any furrier I have ever shopped. They are second to none!

They know their business.

They are timely and very talented furriers. Repairs and remodels, storage and cleaning are also services that they provide exceptionally well.

Do not buy spend your money here!!!!!. Against my better judgment, I went there last year when I was looking for a new fur. A couple of years ago, I tried two furs cleaned there a couple of years ago. Since I was not interested in purchasing a new fur, the salespeople were not interested in my business. After waiting forever, I left. I tried on several furs and was interested in one. However I told the salesmen that I just started looking and was not ready to purchase today. She rudely and abruptly escorted me out saying 'bye bye now' (like a SNL skit). I called the manager and he seemed totally uninterested in my complaint. I guess it was just business as usual. Unless you are prepared to spend money don't even enter the store. The staff is rude and very condescending.

Good service and quality. I found my experience with garber furs to be the exact opposite. A friend of mine had recommended them and I purchased my sixth fur coat from them. The service was great and the coat is beautiful and of very high quality.

The company has been around for many, many years.I remember my mother purchasing furs from them when I was a child. She still wears those furs and none are falling apart.

Terrible Service!!!. this store was awful. i bought a coat and it was falling apart within a week. i went back to return it, and the people who worked in the store were very rude! i would not recommend this place.

avoid. unfriendly service, poor quality of sale products, prices are very high comparing to market. No return policy.
