Looking for Courteous Customer Service..Don't look here!!.
This place has some of the worst customer service I have ever heard of!! You would never believe who was the one responsible for such a display either. It was the supervisor, Lisa!!! Universal Auto parts...5414 West Roosevelt, has an idiot for a supervisor! I wouldn't give them any stars in this review, but I had to or this information would not post.( I want everyone to know about this)The other workers were more helpful than the supervisor so it is obvious that she knows someone high up in this company...that is why she is still working there and making this company lose lots of potential customers. I know I wouldn't go there and I would recommend that all my friends and family do the same!
My Story............
My brother in law purchased a grill for his car and it was wrapped in bubble wrap so he thought it was brand new. When he unwrapped it and found it was damaged, he called to tell them that he wanted to return it. This "supervisor" Lisa, was extremely nasty and rude. She displayed the customer service skills of a street rat! This is appalling! Not only is it surprising, but it is utterly unacceptable! I recommend that no one makes any purchases from this location. If you want courteous customer service, do not go to Lisa! You will be very disappointed.
Just to keep everyone updated with this situation, this the the response I received from the KSGroup, corporate office of Universal Auto Parts, Illinois Manager... Brace yourselves, it looks like it was typed by a 5 year old.

I'm so sorry to heard this incident has happened.
I don't know you are walk in custom or one of my current custom.usually we check all parts
be pick up or shipping out ,If parts been pick up by store we always ask our custom to double check
on it before they leave the store,However some time either warehouse over look or custom did not check on it.anything could
happen !!Anyway I be happy to hear your question and we appreciated your complaint.I'll do more investigation for this incident

What a joke! KS Group clearly does not take their customers seriously. I would suggest that anyone looking for auto parts, look elsewhere.
