Brought my Buick Park Ave in for a free diagnostic after another shop told me i needed a new transmission. The diagnostic showed i only needed a front wheel bearing. I highly recommend this shop. Honest and professional.

RIPOFF ALERT !!!. On 3-24-09 I took my vehicle to Aamco in Glen Ellyn and paid for a "power purge" (transmission flush). A power purge includes : a new filter, pan gasket, 7 trans fluid, an additive, and labor. The total cost was $160.87.

On 5-15-09 I took my car in for two new tires at NTB in Villa Park. As I was paying for my tires and service I was told I should have a transmission flush as my fluid was "very dirty". This concerned me quite a bit considering I had just had that very service done only a little over a month ago.

On 5-22-09 I took my car to my regular mechanic and he confirmed what NTB had told me. After he got my car up on the lift it was obvious that no trans flush was ever done.

$160 for absolutely nothing.

Do not go here for any reason,...ever.
