Would NEVER return here. We had high hopes for Southpaw considering it is within a short walking distance from our home and we were referred by others in our neighborhood. We were sadly mistaken.

The first tiime we took our dog in they were very friendly and quick. However, that never happened again. We took our dog back for a second time and he was there over 5 hours when they said 3-4 tops. When we went to pick him up it was complete chaos with way too many dogs being dropped off/picked up at once for the tiny space. We figured it was just a busy day so we gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned a 3rd time. I was appalled when I went to pick up our dog. After being there yet again over 5 hours, when I went to get him he was in a tiny crate on the ground topped with 2 other crates with dogs on top of him. The crates are all mismatched and stacked...I'm not even sure how this is allowed. I had to tell them 3 times I was there for my dog as I was ignored while they yet again were taking several more dogs at once.

Southpaw is NOT a safe or nice place to take your dog if you love and care about them in any way. I know I do not want my dog to be stuck waiting in a crate for over 5 hours especially when there are other crates slammed on top of him with way too many barking dogs for a small space and the number of people around to take care of them.

We have found an amazing place that does 1 on 1 grooming, keeps our dog there no longer than an hour and a half, and costs the same as this crammed dirty space.
