Don't give birth without them!

I highly recommend the Birthways staff for helping you to have a positive birth experience. I am a first-time mom. My doula, Susan Smartt, was unbelievably helpful before and during my labor. She helped calm my fears, soothed me during the pain (31 hours!), and followed up after the birth, when I was struggling with breastfeeding. She also put me in touch with another staff member at Birthways, Jeanette McCulloch, who assisted me by phone as a lactation consultant. She talked me through some very emotional days when my baby was not wanting to nurse. We now have a very positive nursing routine. I truly feel like I couldn’t have done it all without Birthways! If we have another child in the next few years, I will definitely be calling Birthways again—and I’m recommending them to everyone I know.
