The Scene – The price point at this funky little lounge is refreshingly low for the neighborhood, and the intimate space allows just enough elbow room. Black lacquer tables, tomato-red walls and cozy booths give the place a sexy, nocturnal vibe, and a club-ready Boys Town crowd packs in for late, late dining. – – The Food – Firefly's bistro menu deftly mingles French-inspired nibbles with old-fashioned comfort food. Just about every app is a crowd-pleaser: creamy Parmesan deviled eggs, succulent escargot en croute, and a charcuterie plate with imported cheeses paired…

I came here with some friends of mine for a bite, wanted to try something new. Needless to say, whether or not the food is any good this woman, who turns out is the owner, ruined our entire experience. I'm not sure exactly what was going on, but she was horrible! I don't know how she got started talking to one of the guys in my group but she was such a B*TCH! and potentially heavily medicated? Or definitely super drunk! She was slurring her words together, complaining about business, we were all just looking at each other horrified and we had barely settled in to look at a menu!!! She was just a disgusting mess, we were so turned off by her behavior we left without even placing a drink order. Business is 80% communication and people skills, 20% actual talent or product. If the 80% is so ill you never make it to experience the 20%... well enough said.
- Pros: seemed like a good idea in theory
- Cons: lovely staff
Freindly, Great Drinks, Great Food, Fun Atmosphere

I've been going here for 2 years, and other than an 8 month stretch with a marginal chef (all fixed now), it's a weekly event.
Generous martini's, attentive staff that remembers your name, your drink, good food... The fish and chips are a must if they're on special.
It's a great haunt on Monday night when most other places are closed, and the kitchen is open late most nights. Attracts a great crowd. Weekend nights can get crowded or noisy.
Overall, it's a friendly, comfortable place, and while not cheap, it's a good value. Your martini may cost $11, but it come in a glass big enough to make any drag queen's hands look small! Food portions are moderate, but extremely well flavored.
Go twice and you'll be treated like family..
Great for romantic dinners, or eating at the bar.
- Pros: atmostphere, food, drinks, service
- Cons: noisy and crowded on weekend nights
Impress your date ....

Firefly is one of my routine "take a date to dinner" spots - You cant go wrong with the service, the delightful food presentation / portion control and the price. And yes, a MARTINI is a MUST! PS - as you progress into the later hours, weekend visitors get a little louder as the night goes on (oh, it could be the wonderful Martini's)
- Pros: The Filet
- Cons: Noisy later into an eveing
