Editorial Review for Sound-Bar – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
Nine bars, two lounges, three DJ booths and a 4,000-square-foot main dance floor illustrate the hugeness of this club; futuristic-minimalist furniture, stainless steel, smoked glass and color-themed rooms provide swanky visual stimulation. State-of-the-art sound and lighting systems create a heady experience: Motors, movable screens and floor-to-ceiling walls of frosted glass (as projection surfaces) makes images appear to float in the air above the crowds. Libations range from beer to champagne.

Some of my friends don't like coming here, but everytime I go, I always have fun. Saturdays are ALWAYS crowded, but I think the music is better on Fridays. Its usually crowded then too. I love how they always have random theme parties through the year, and you walk in, and some crazy stuff is going on. I went the other night, and they decorated the place like it was a garden, with flowers everywhere, and there was a giant HOT TUB with girls in bikinis everywhere. And when I went downstairs there were girls in cages and stuff. They said it was paradise lost, but whatever was going on, it was cool to just go somewhere and see something new. The staff here is great. At first, I thought they were really snooty, but then I started just talking to people, and they're actually cool. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO DANCE!!! They have two levels with different music, so you can always find something you like. I think my FAVORITE thing about this place is that its so diverse, ALL types of people go here and just have fun. There's not just plastic barbies(although they show up there too) but there's all types of races and different types of people having a good time. I love it!
Pros: Great place to dance. Lots of bars so you can get lots of drinks.
Cons: You can't come too casual or they wont let you in.

When I went I felt like I was at a junior high dance. Everyone was against the wall, hardly anybody was dancing with each other. The layout was cool, so I would say that it has potential. The reason I gave it 2 stars was because the door staff was very rude and very unaccommodating. I won't go into detail but they were real cocky and power hungry for some reason. That usually doesn't effect how good of a time you have but it did for me. I would say give it a try, it may be for you but I'm never going back.
