Lunch buffet among the better in the area. The lunch buffet has a nice variety and nice turn over of food due to higher volume. Price is decent. I have had dinner there, and they deal well with larger families. Food was enjoyable and the staff pleasant.…
Authentic Cantonese, No nonsense service.
My husband and I are from Markham (Toronto) Canada and it's got the best Chinese food outside China. We were satisified coming here for dinner on a Sunday night - it was busy and the diners are
locals, both Asians and non Asians - great mix of people!
This restaurant needs a face lift. The restaurant owner is perhaps a lover of 60's and 70's Hong Kong music and the nostalgic, gentle sounds of Sam Hui, Dung Lai Kwan, Kwan Tsing Kit played in the background all night. But don't let that scare you off!!! The service is courteous, and the food is authentic Cantonese right from Hong Kong.
For $32.99, we enjoyed 2 dishes of our choice + restaurant's pick of either dungoness crab, lobster or fish. We tried the dungoness crab and it was delicious. The appetizer Chinese soup and dessert red bean soup are all included in the price. We were more than satisfied with the 3 dishes. Tax, tips everything included we went home satisfied for $45. If you are looking for authentic Chinese but want to stay in the burbs, try this place!…
Best in the 'burbs. I consider this the best restaurant outside of Chicago's Chinatown. The dim sum is very good and diverse. On weekends, it's served off of push carts. Their dinner menu is oustanding. It's always hard to choose what to order. Bring a large group and share. They will also cook anything that you'd like that's not on the menu. They have a party room where I've brought large family groups for celebrations.…
Chinese New Year at Jockey. We had an unbeliveable Chinese New Year's eve night at Jockey Wok N' Rolls Restaurant. There was lion dance, traditional dance, and traditional music. It reminded me when I was in China when I was young. But, the best thing is the food. Jockey served original Chinese New Year dishes. This place is the best in the NorthWest of Chicago.…
