Editorial Review for Dunphy's Bar & Grill – by Citysearch Editors

In Short
A corporate crowd looking for more than fast food dine at this grill, where dark wood, panels of stained glass and low-hanging, bejeweled lamps impart a bit of Celtic flair. Grab a spacious, sunny windowside booth, or sit at the large, raised bar for sandwiches, salads, burgers and ribs. Other options include creamy baked potato soup, turkey club sandwiches and crunchy sesame chicken fingers with tangy honey mustard sauce.

Went there for lunch at 11:30 in the morning with a friend. Ordered a salad and a tuna sandwich from the waiter, who promptly disappeared into the time portal in the back, never to be seen again. Waited, along with the one other table in the place, for 15 minutes before asking for the drinks we ordered from a manager. Waited another 25 minutes before getting up to leave as neither of us had gotten our lunch yet and both had to be back at work. When the manager was confronted, he said "Yeah, this place really is going down hill" and left it at that. Terrible, terrible service!

Pros: Good location

Cons: Terrible service, abysmal manager, horrible experience

Friendly service, and soups are excellent. Delicious chili, and a great place for after-work drinks.

Pros: friendly, inexpensive, good parking

Cons: location
