In Short – Concrete floors give way to fuzzy sweaters with wood buttons, dress shirts embellished with leaves and acorns and red messenger bags that scream "I don't do briefcases." Plaid dress pants pair with brown vests from Farhi, and jeans from paperdenim&cloth make casual Fridays a fab affair. Other finds include athletic-cut tees and flower-embossed cufflinks.

Great merchandise, so-so customer service

Went to Apartment 9 with a friend of mine. Kind of a weird vibe. I went there because of their write up in an old Men's Vogue magazine. Admittedly, they do have some great stuff. Unique selection of shirts, sweaters, jeans, etc. by notable designers. Store has a nice layout and is shopper friendly.
Here is where I have a challenge. The article highlighted their exemplary customer service. I was pretty much ignored during the entire visit. I was dressed well, more business than casual, but I guess I didn't fit the general feel of the shop. I don't need someone all over me, but it would have been nice to ask me if I needed any help.
Again, they do have some awesome merchandise. Would I recommend it? Maybe. Would I try it again? If I was in the neighborhood yes, but I wouldn't make a special trip.

Best Men's Selection

Great men's store for apparel. The designers are cutting edge. Apartment Number 9 carries Rogan, Left Field, John Varvatos, and Paul & Joe and more. Better selection than other men's stores.

The best mens clothes outside of NYC!

Apartment 9 offers clothes from cool young designers and some more established brands like Paul Smith, Fred Perry and John Smedley. It's definitely geared toward the fashioable and hip audience. Their customer service is fantastic!
