Customize your meal. Flat Top consistently has great, fresh ingredients and I always eat very healthy food - lots of vegetables - when I'm here. Eating healthy and enjoying it is always a good thing. I also love their selection of sauces. I could come here over and over and always have a slightly different meal depending on what sauce I'm in the mood for. They had calamari instead of the typical white fish that the Naperville location has, which was a tasty surprise.

This was my first time eating at the Evanston location and I would say that it's on-par with the Naperville location, though a little better lit. Same great service.

Made to Order. There are so many sauces and vegetables and styles of preparation to choose from that the combinations are endless. The service is also good. Much better than similar style restaurants. Here you don't have to wait by the grill for your food to be ready. You just drop off your bowl, and it is delivered to your table once it is cooked. For approximately $12 you can eat all you want. This is important, especially if you put together a combination that may have seemed tastey as you piled the ingredients into your bowl but turn out to be quite awful once you tasted it. You can just set the dish aside, and start another combination. For those that are not as adventurous to attempt to mix your own sauces, they also offer recipes on how to make some of favorite asian style dishes like moo moo and pad thai.

a definite "8". This is a great place to meet friends, have some delicious drinks or even bring the kids.
