Evanston restaurant delivers straightforward Thai cuisine in a business casual setting.. In Short
A short walk from the movieplex, this centrally located restaurant attracts a steady stream of foot traffic from Northwestern students and office workers for lunch. It certainly has the space, with a raised platform to the left, plenty of tables for two and banquet seating for private parties. Linen-covered tables and chandeliers lend formality, but the somewhat dated maroon carpet and modest prices take any pretentiousness away. The menu embraces standards like Pad Woon Sen, Pad Thai, Masamun Curry and Red Snapper, which can all be adjusted for spice.

Wonderful!!. Fast and professional service! Delicious dishes, in particular, yummy tom kha soup and especially the marvelous Curried Noodles!! Spacious dining and comfortable atmosphere for a casual group outing. Definitely check it out.

If you like Americanized Thai food, this is it.. The restaurant has a nice ambience and the price is reasonable. If you prefer Americanized Thai food, you might like it. But since I ate in nice Thai restaurants in Thailand for almost my entire life, this place was not for me. I went there for 4-5 times, when my American friends organized parties.

Very Good for Inexpensive Thai. This Thai restaurant is a bit "Americanized" in that you need to request "Chinese broccoli" instead of "American broccoli" with the pad see eiw and request lime and extra ground peanuts, if you want it. Other than that, the service is pretty fast, the food piping hot, and the flavoring not-too-salty.

Hoping for Better. Was disappointed in the service and food here. It had been recommended as one of the best Thai restaurants in the northern Chicago area. The restaurant itself was very pretty, clean, and surprisingly large. It should have tipped us off that it was nearly empty when we went in. The Pad Thai lacked lime; even the cheaper places usually give you at least a lemon slice. It took a bit of doing to find any ground peanuts in the dish. It just didn't have much flavor, and the traditional condiments were not brought to the table or offered. My husband ordered a noodle dish with broccoli and beef, and it was flavorless. Service was slow and the waitstaff seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than waiting tables.
