Great Pizza Excellent Beef & Sausage Combo Sandwich!. Gigio's has been in Evanston forever. Those of us from Evanston love it! I read it's greasy...take a paper towel and take the grease off. Pizza is greasy. Too greasy it is not. If you want a good slice of pizza made fresh everyday Gigio's is a must. You want an awesome sandwich, try the Beef and Sausage Combo with hot peppers and juicy. It is delicious. The staff is the same from when I was in high school. They are a cool bunch of guys. It's clean, affordable and good ! I moved from Evanston 21 years ago and when I visit I usually order from them. I ordered so much when I lived there I remember the phone number when I visit and order!

What is pizza supposed to be?. Great pizza. I personally have toured the premises here and even entered the walk-in fridge. The place is immaculately kept. Fresh ingredients are used. The owner has been around over three decades with this business. Unfortunately many Evanstonites might expect tofu or some form of California rendition on traditionally great New York style pizza - DON'T! And please don't write a review based on such ridiculous pretense.

best effing pizza ever!!. okay, all of you dumbasses out there. GiGio's is the best pizza. All of you losers saying, "aww theres so much grease". Uhm..newsflash..DUHHH. pizaa has grease. god. go eat at an organic garden.

Horrible Restaurant with Bad Food. Simply do not go here. This is one of the dirtiest places I have ever seen. Several critters are in the bathrooms and the food is extraordinarily greasy. The restaurant also attracts a lot of bums and seedy-looking people and the workers there are very rude. You can find better pizza at almost any other pizza place and better anything else anywhere else that sells the same food.
