Horrible service. While the food was decent the service was one of the worst experiences. The waitress never refilled any water glasses, never offered refills on any beverages, was very hard to pin down as she was often gone for long periods of time (Even though it was not busy) and was not in the least personable. The food took ages to come out. At the end of the meal, we were a party of seven and spent almost $150, she dropped off the check without a word; never offering dessert, let alone coffee or tea. I felt like we were in the way and were keeping her from quality time on her cellphone. Since there are at least three other very good Italian restaurants in Oak Park, there is no reason to ever darken Geppetto's doors again.

good food with worst service in town. I ordered a pizza on a Tuesday night. They notified me that the order would arrive within an hour. An hour later the restaurant called me back to let me know that they would not be able to send it out for another hour. I said that was fine as long as it arrived within the hour. I was then transfered to a manager who said she would not promise that so I cancelled the order. I then noticed that my credit card had been charged even though I would not be getting any food. When I called back to request a receipt they refused to provide me with proof that they had voided the transaction. The manager who was not worried about loosing our buisness eventually said that she would put a receipt in the mail. TERRIBLE customer service. What a shame!

Good pizza. When I went there I ordered a pizza with green olives. My waiter brought out my pizza, and it had black olives. I was dismayed, as I don't really like black ones. They were nice enough to take the pizza off my bill, which I totally didn't expect. Other than that incident, the service was good and the food was good (even with some unwanted olives).

Great Italian Restaurant. One of the best italian restaurants in chicago. The pizza has a perfect blend of ingredients, and this is one of the only places to find a full salad bar complete with homeade soup, salad, bread and more.

Great local lunch or dinner spot. Geppetto's has really good food. Their thin crust pizzas are great and they have very fresh ingredients. Enjoy them there or have them delivered. Their prices are extremely reasonable too. The fresh baked bread, soup & salad bar is the best deal around. You would think that an old Italian mother is churning out these soups and breads, they are so good. And, less than $4 for lunch and $8 for dinner. A steal.
