I got sick from the food and on top of that the service was horrible! The owner is not professional at all because he let his employees be rude to his customers! did you forget business is run by word of mouth?

Wow, I love this place. I travel from Indianapolis to Chicago at least twice a month just to eat at Uncle Joe's. The food is great; I love the Jerk Chicken and the Ox tails. Their award winning sauce is awesome. "I wish they would open up a location in Indianapolis Indiana". If you are traveling to the Chicago area you have to stop at Uncle Joe's

Okay. The food is up and down. Sometimes good. There is an older waitress there that I hear so many complaints about EVERY time I go there! She's very nasty! So if u go ur best bet is to phone it in about 30 mins to an hour n advance...

Uncle Joe is a Wicked place. It is mad up with dooke and brains and Joe i knew u for so long but u betray me 10 times and your son is ugly and your family is ugly and rude marjarie,cyntie,and dell they come in and get food before we do thats not good bussiness dont go to uncle joe because they cook their food with chicken and rabit liquid like red stuff blessed and why u fire my boyfriend ugo

Great for pick-up!. I hate the long lines here! So I fully recommend calling for pick-up. I primarily go here for their chicken since it is superb.

If Jer food is what you have a taste for this is the place to be!. ="Great food!! Nice new dine-in area with great service! However call in for a pick-up, other wise expect a long wait that may be even longer on weekends and Friday

the messed up,nasty uncle joe. there oxtail is horrible .people sit in the back and smoke ganja such as a guy name linky,dracula[raney],and ugo and a nasty fair cumplection lady i called the police and they scattered and one drove of in his white bens uncle joe is infessed with drugs,nasty food,and sexual abutions.i saw someone with a gun in uncle joe and it fired i know his sisters beverly,palette,dell,and brother rick

The Best Chicken in Chicago. The food @ Uncle Joes is Terrific! The Rice and Peas are always fluffy and never over cooked, The Chicken is top notch, and the Catfish is too die for. The remodeling of the seating area was also an extra delight. Kudos!!!!!

Hyde park Uncle is a big let down .!. "oohray! Uncle Joe's is in Hyde Park! "is how I felt while walking my dogs and noticed the long line of patron's IMPATIENTLY waiting. . .( the food must be reeeeally good ) - NOT! - what a let down!

the service was HORRIBLE . . the FOOD IS GREASY! and since your are waiting so long for the check out staff to call your number The FOOD IS NOW GREASY AND COLD. . by the way the long line was due to the Hostage move - they paid for the food and now was stuck. . .

Uncle Joe - please give your magic touch to the Hyde park location or just shut it down.
