This theater has all the modern conveniences for enjoying the latest releases.. The Scene
The walls are adorned with the typical classic movie posters, while famous movie quotes are tiled into the floor. Take the escalators to the second floor, which is devoted to ticketing. Then, take another escalator to the third floor to find a large concession stand, arcade with shiny new games and the theaters. The staff behind the counter is friendly and serves with a smile. This location is very convenient to Mag Mile, the Loop and Navy Pier.

The Theater
You'll find comfort in the clean stadium seats. The sounds system is loud enough to rock the floor in an action scene, but not too loud overall. Drop your drink in the cup holder, sit back and enjoy the show.

Comfort Cinema. By far the roomiest place in the city to see a movie. You can stretch your legs and put your head back on the seat.

Magnum Moviehaus. This is the WalMart of movie theatres and I hope this isn't the direction that most theatres are headed. Basically, there isn't much "atmosphere". But, there are a ton of choices. In the winter, you won't feel welcome until you get to the upper deck to see your movie, because the lobby is COLD and isn't very welcoming. The popcorn isn't very good either. BUT, once inside, the theatres are awesome and the seating is second to none. In short, a bad entrance, but once inside, you're set!

nice... at a price. big screens yes, stadium seating yes, great sound sure,

BUT parking is horrible. the attached garage offers only

a $1 discount from the regular price (upwards of $15)

and even then only if it's under two hours... otherwise

parking and film will come out to nearly $30!!(!)

parking in the area is even more perilous - good luck

finding a spot... or a lot that does't charge even more.

great location. great sound, stadium seating and large screens. live in gold coast/downtown--this will be my regular movie theatre.

Not Bad. Nice place to hang out, kick back and enjoy the movie.
