“really enjoy the dual atmosphere of Lions Head (not to mention the tower of beer) and then the higher energy Apartment upstairs.”
“Awesome bar”
“Great food at Lion's Head, and the Apartment is a blast.”
“Great menu downstairs at the Lion Head Pub.”
“Some people will say that the atmosphere is a bit to frat-like, but as long as you avoid the peak weekend hours, it's a good place to hang out.”
“The bar could have made a lot more money (especially downstairs) if they would have let some people inside instead of making them wait in the cold weather outside.”
“Lion Head pub has good food, and everything is 1/2 price on Thursdays.”
“It's one thing to have a long line for "appearances," but another to have it for no reason at all, especially when it was that cold outside.”

Two stories accommodate DePaul students' crowded debauchery on weekends, but it's actually a charmingly decorated pub that's a lovely pick on a weeknight.
go and have fun. nice place!! good bar and shots are cheap.... also check out the mytouchtunes jukebox
Tower of Beer!. I really enjoy the dual atmosphere of Lions Head (not to mention the tower of beer) and then the higher energy Apartment upstairs.
Awesome bar. I would highly recommend both Lion's Head and the Apartment. Great food at Lion's Head, and the Apartment is a blast.
Great place for Thursday. No cover, good music, not too crowded. Watch the valet though. Watched them park a car and "bump" another parked car. Great menu downstairs at the Lion Head Pub.
Credit Card SCAM. I opened a tab at the bar. When I checked my credit card bill there was an extra $50 charge! Don't go there unless you've got cash.
FUN FUN FUN!!. This place is great!! It is slightly crowded Thursdays but drinks are super cheap. Lots of smokin hot girls. Downstairs is laidback but upstairs is a big party. Lots of good music and our bartender (Regan) was awsome and did not let us go thirsty! I recommend this place for people who live here or visitors.
Anywhere But Here.
I enjoy the Lion's Head. Its fun without being obnoxious.
The Apartment is so crowded, hot, and loud with awful musis that I think I would have had a better time sitting under the expressway with a 40 oz. beer in mid-August tuned into NPR.
Don't go with more than 2 friends because you won't see each other all night. Its a flat out battle to cross through the bar, all of which seems to be game as a dance floor for the Recently 21 Crowd. Don't wear expensive clothes because you WILL get spilled on. Don't wear open toed shoes because you WILL get stepped on. Go somewhere else on a Friday or Saturday because you WILL have a better time.
i'm going there again!. this place was great! one of the best things was no cover (try going to le passage and moda every weekend and paying $20 to get in every time!). drinks were ok, though i only had shots. bartenders were awful (took 20 mins to order 2 shots!). overall atmosphere is great though. crowded, but music is good. my friends and i enjoyed the bed!
the apartment. I loved the bed in the apartment! It makes you feel relaxed like your at home! Its a little expensive to get in!
great place, poor service. I received the WORSE service here. First, the waitress took over 30 minutes to bring every drink order. Soon enough, we were fed up and decided to go up to the bar instead. Then she comes by after 45 minutes (we had already ordered $60+ in from the bar) and threatens that we can't sit in her area unless we order drinks from HER. I asked if we were required to buy drinks from a specific waitress and she says no, but youre taking up my space and youre irritating me. I brought up the issue with the manager and instead of addressing his poorly trained staff, he tells me that I have no right to be mad at her and that she's just doing her job. So their definition of "doing a job" is threatening their customers and taking half an hour to get a simple drink order.
