What People Are Saying About Peninsula Spa - Chicago Hotels

In Short – Swiss sauna meets South Beach in this contemporary bi-level spa that ups its cool factor with a private terrace and yoga studio. Pine walls on all sides warm up an open lobby decorated simply with fresh-cut orchids, but the gem is a mosaic-tiled lounge overlooking the pool area, where power brokers relax on stuffed chaises in between massages, facials and other treatments. Staff members are ESPA-trained, focusing on holistic European and Asian therapies. –

The best in Chicago - bar none.

A full 5 star hotel in every way.
Best service.
Best rooms.
Best ballroom.
Best bar.
Best ambience.
Best balcony/lookout area.
Truly a spectacular hotel. Stay 1 night here and you will not want to go back home and you will wish your bank account had more in it to fund a several nights getaway in the Windy City.
It is close to everything important unlike the Trump International which is in the middle of nowhere.
Unlike the Ritz Carlton, the Pen has far better rooms. And the bathrooms are modern and elegant - the Ritz Chicago has bathtubs with a shower curtain.... come on!
Probably at the level of the Four Seasons Chicago or better.
Better than Botox!

Getting your eyebrows done by Tina is better than a facelift! She is amazing.
Tina is Chicago's best kept secert. I have not found anyone this good at eyebrows since I lived in London.
The Peninsula Spa is one of the best city spas in the country. The service and attention to detail is flawless, the staff well trained and responsive and the ambience pleasant and soothing. In addition the Spa draws on the Peninsula hotel so that they can accomodate any special need - diet, baby-sitting, reservations, quick suit press, send a fax - whatever.
Awesome Service, Beautiful Spa

This was my first time getting a massage at Peninsula by ESPA. It was awesome. My massage therapist, Donald, was really something else. He discussed with me prior to the massage on what we should really work on. I was feeling really stressed and tired, but all that went away after my hour with him. He had suggested Aromatherapy mixed with a little deep tissue for my back. It really made me feel really relieved afterward. Before the massage, I got to relax in their lounge area and even take a steam. Everyone was very friendly and I can't wait to go back!
- Pros: Great Massage!
- Cons: None
Best Spa in Chicago!

Let me just start off by saying that I am a spa junkie. I have been to practically every spa in Chicago and I would definitely vot The Peninsula Spa #1. From the moment you step out of the elevator you feel like you are in another world. Whenever I am there I am greeted by happy smiling faces and receive the greatest customer service.
I recently had a 90 minute Aromatherapy massage with Andrea and a manicure with Mylinh. Both services were completely five star. I think my favorite part of this spa is their relaxation lounge. They have these amazing reclining beds that make you not want to leave. My massage was completely relaxing. As I tell everyone, you must do ninety minutes. Sixty minutes just does not cut it anymore! My manicure was top notch as well. I love all of the ESPA products they use. I was surprised to learn they are the only vendor that carries them in Chicago.
As always I only have great things to say about this place. I wish I could come here every day!
- Pros: Relaxation Lounge, Quality of Service, Ambiance
