676, better than I expected.
I took my girlfrien there for our anniversary. We got a window seat that had a beutiful view of maichigan avenue. I have always had bad experiences with hotel food, but this time was differnet. We
shared three small tastes. Foie gras, pork belly and house chips. All three were delicious and cheap to. The flavor combinations on both the foie and pork were spot on. We then had a flatbread, with shrimp and sweet corn. It was also good. A little salty though. The crust was obviously made in house and it was perfect.
We both had steaks. Mine was very good, but hers was very over cooked. We didnt say anything, beacuase being chefs, I know how much I hate recooking steaks. We were given free chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary. Our server was very courdious. I would eat there again, but I would not order a steak.…
Disappointing Experience. After reading the reviews, my husband and I made a reservation at the 676 Restaurant & Bar for a special dinner during our vacation to Chicago. We were incredibly disappointed! We were crammed into a corner by the window with the next table just inches away from us. The service was awful - every time the waitress came to our table, which wasn't often, she had mixed up our order. To top it all off, the food was mediocre at best. Don't waste your time and money.…
Great food, drink and service. I love this place. Great atmosphere, great food and great service. Everything on the menu is delicious. Wine selections are wonderful. I was a little reluctant to try 676 as it is in a hotel (Omni Chicago) however this is one of my favorite spots in the city. Highly recommended.…
#1 worst restaurant. We visited 676 a couple of weeks ago, the service was awful and the food was even worse. We were even fortunate to have one 676's little friends walk across our table. There are many great restaurants in Chicago and this is one that I would avoid. It is not worth the money or the experience..…
