Love the new location!. As usual I received professional service and loved my hair when I left.

The new location is beautiful and the attention to detail was very well thought out. Kim and Barb should feel very proud of themselves and their staff.

I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new stylist or just a great salon experience. Not only would I suggest their color/hairstyling services but the facials are to die for! Wonderful salon!

Oak Lawn's loveliest salon. I've had several services at Studio 21 - hair color, cut, style, updo for a party, massage, manicure, facial, eyelash extensions. Ever had a private pedicure? You can have one here. I've been completely satisfied with everything and everyone who has worked with me. I actually keep their business cards in my wallet because I am asked "where do you get your hair done?"

I love the new location too. Modern, sleek, great music and fun, stylish employees. The spa rooms are really relaxing. They put some thought into this spot, and I get the benefits!

Make an appointment and enjoy yourself. I just had a facial with Alla today and I look glowy!

Not surprised. After being informed of their reviews on here I decided to let curiosity rear its ugly head.Not being surprised by the reviews but rather the down right unprofessionalism displayed by Kim the owner.I decided to stand up for her so called"Past employees"Being one of the masses who they so genrously "excepted the resignation of"I can tell you I am appauled by their ability to put blame on their cast offs.While I worked there for 2 years I can tell you I should have seen it coming when Kim wanted me to dress and act like her.Heres your first clue,You dress like you are from the eighties and every client coming out of your chair looks JUST LIKE YOU!!!Your salon is in Oak Lawn not down town baby!! You treat all clients like they are stupid.Yeah I would pay 50 bucks to put up with your additude!!! Don't blame us its your fault people hate the salon not ours!!! Further more I have more talent in my little finger than you have in your whole body.I work too hard to let you sit here and send my clients gift certificates and try to bribe them into thinking you are a saint. that being said people believe what you read... The real story is far worse.Kim... feel free to blame us for your huge shortcomings but leave my clients alone!!! They followed me for a reason,because I treat them like they matter.

Review from Reviewer1. This was great place that I have never been to before. I came from the NW Suburbs and stopped in and the service was excellent. Even better then some of the 5 start places up North in Barrington. I will come here again next time I am in town. I received an electrolysis consultation (very professional) and also a great facial and massage! I highly recommend this place!!!

Classy and professional salon. Studio 21 Salon and Spa has been in business for over ten years. We relocated to a beautiful salon and spa, and we pride ourselves on professionalism, and excellence in the multiple services that we provide. We have a staff of 10, including stylists, two estheticians, nail tech, massage therapist, and licensed physician to provide the latest in med spa services. I want to personally thank our wonderful staff and clientele. Bad reviews are unfortunate when they are untrue, however, we continue to move ahead in becoming the best salon/med spa in Oak Lawn.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND UNORGANIZED!!!. I tried to book several massages there for a party.I was told they could accomodate us after moving into the new location which they would definitely be in by the day of the party.All I had to do was call back when I knew how many people and the treatment they were going to have.So I did.When I called back(two weeks prior to the service)I was told that they were STILL not in the new location and would only be able to accomodate one girl at a time.I booked since I had already placed their name on the invite and didn't have enough time to look for another place. I was told that I would get a call Friday to confirm that they'll be in the new location.Friday came and went.I received a call Saturday(one week prior to service)from Barbara asking when a good time to discuss the party would be.I gave her a specific day and time and said I would wait for her call.Again, the day came and went without a call.3 days prior to services I called them and was greeted rudely upon first answer.As we were confirming I was told that there was a 50% deposit required! I asked why this wasn't mentioned to me prior and she went into a rant about moving and inspectors-absolutely nothing to do with my question! Barbara became very upset and rude and I felt as though I was being treated rudely due to the fact that I am younger.Needles to say I cancelled all of the appointments there and now need to find elsewhere to go-3 days to the party! Barbara talks super slow, so don't call unless you have time to wait and listen.She interupts and is EXTREMELY unorganized. She asked for the names and my phone number every time I talked to her.I am asking everyone to not go there.I think that although they have been in business a long time,they are not in touch with society.If you ask aquestion,expect to get an answer regarding something completely different than what you asked.I can say that I'm grateful this happened-from looking at the pictures I'd be scared to see my hair after an appointment there!

Worst time of my life!!!!. I have been to many salons in my life and this is by far the worst ive ever been to! The owner Barbara was as rude as can be to start with. she was rude when i booked and when i went to her to complain she said "I have been in this business for 20 years and I would know if i had a dirty salon" The rooms were disgusting and not sanatary at all. there was an over flowing garbage can in the dimly lit room full of nasty used sheets. they were all over the floor and it was awful. I tried to stay for a waxing untill a "large" beer bellied man without a shirt on came in and said he was my waxer!!! that was it, i booked outta there and will never go back!! i wouldnt recomend this to my worst enemy!!! trust me STAY AWAY!!!!
