You should have your wedding reception here!!!!. WOW, What A WEDDING!

i have gotten to the tail end of my friends getting married so i am a bit jaded with wedding food and banquet halls. i was pleasantly SHOCKED at the fabulous wedding i attended at Pazzo's at 311 south wacker. don't confuse it with the others, this one is in a 3 story glass atrium which is the coolest place to have dinner for a wedding - nothing like those boxy banquet halls.

The ceremony was right where we ate dinner just 45 minutes later. we didn't even notice the turnover. and the food! it tasted like i ordered a filet, mashed potatoes and fresh sauteed veggies right off the menu of a great steak restaurant. not at all like banquet food. service was great, bartenders were fast, the alcohol offerings were plenty diverse and they offered like 8 different beers! even the coffee tasted great.

i wish the parking ws cheaper down there. but that's what you would expect from a downtown event. valet would have been nice. HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE! i wish i did. i had no idea such a great place existed in the Loop. I hear the price is right, also. We thought they paid a lot more (so we gave a lot more for the gift).

A soaring glass atrium makes for sunny "outdoor" seating at a few tables, while an inner bar and dining room offers booths and low lighting for intimate meals. Straightforward Mediterranean-Italian dishes include generous pastas, salads and sandwiches. The hummus flight could easily feed four, with toasted pita for dipping. Spicy tomato sauce gives a kick to fusilli Napolatani with Italian sausage and black olives. Lightly dressed with lemon-cumin oil, grilled tuna steak is popular, too.
